Goals For 2017

I think goals are a great thing to set at the end of a year, they give you something to strive for and are so motivating. Today I want to share my goals and ambitions for 2017. I'm sharing this in December because I'm already striving for these and want to start now.

University

In 2017 I want to improve my grades and really focus on university. I'm content with how well I did last year but I really want to take my grades up a level. I have always achieved my target grades academically but I am always wanting to improve. This year I want to focus more and really utilise the resources University has to offer.

Work Placement

I do a sandwich course at Uni meaning next year (I'm currently in 2nd) I have the option of doing a work placement. My dream is to work in marketing so my goal is to get a internship in that sector. It would meaning moving away from Nottingham and starting again in a completely different area however I am up for change and I really want to work within the industry.

Blog

I have become more serious with my blog the past year. I have done collabs with companies and have seen a rise in readers but this year I want to take it up a level. I have not really had a blog schedule so this year I want to stick to one and try to pre write posts before the day they go live. Blogging is one of my passions and I find writing and working on my blog always distresses me.

YouTube

This is probably an unexpected title to some people who know me. I have been following YouTubers for as long as I can remember and I have always wanted my own channel however I have always found reasons to not start. I have already made a channel and I have started planning, I should have my first video uploaded early January. I'm beyond nervous but I have always wanted one so watch this space!

Overcome Anxiety

I like to be completely honest on my blog and to my readers, I do get anxiety. It has stopped me from putting myself out there in certain situations and some days are hard. This year I want to overcome it and really focus on my well being.

Do you set yourself yearly goals? Do they help you stay on track?

  6. Wow what a list! Get as much experience in anything you can relating to your degree, that way you know what career path you want to take and what is best. It also makes you stand out from other applicants. It was the best thing I did :) I am hoping to do a lot towards a career and finally pass my driving. I love seeing other people's goals and how they later achieve them! I find it so motivating :D x
